General Firearm Sales

All firearms, magazines, receivers, and restricted law enforcement items are sold and shipped in compliance with federal, state, and local laws. Certain firearms or parts may be restricted in your area; please verify local laws before purchasing.

New firearms are shipped in the manufacturer's original box, including magazine(s), accessories, and warranty information. Firearms sales are final. Warranty work must be returned to the manufacturer within one year. Accessories and special order items may not be covered under warranty unless explicitly guaranteed in writing.

Any firearm left unclaimed at Outdoor Pro Shop LLC for more than 30 days may be forfeited (excludes consignments).

Purchasing Firearms Online

Firearms may only be shipped to a verified Federal Firearms License (FFL). Online orders must be picked up in-store or shipped to a licensed FFL. Verification may occur before shipping.

Changing, Modifying, or Substituting Orders

Orders requiring modification will be canceled and refunded (minus $10 gift card fee). Customers must reorder online. Lead times restart upon reorder.

Returns & Canceled Orders

Canceled or returned orders incur a 15% restocking fee. All sales, including firearms, ammunition, and optics, are final. Orders missing required documents after 21 days will be canceled and refunded minus the restocking fee.

Order Fulfillment

Orders ship within 3–10 business days via UPS, FedEx, or USPS. Tracking is provided for UPS and FedEx shipments. Flat rate shipping applies to the lower 48 states only. Orders outside this area will be canceled with restocking fees applied. Serialized firearms are shipped only to the chosen FFL—do not list the FFL as the shipping address.

Ammunition Purchases

Rifle/shotgun ammo: 18+ years old. Handgun ammo: 21+ years old. All ammunition ships with adult signature required. Sales are final. Customers are responsible for compliance with all local, state, and federal laws.

Firearms Layaway Policy

• 60-Day Payment Plan: Full payment due within 60 days of initial deposit.
• Deposit: Non-refundable minimum 20% to initiate layaway.
• Flexible Payments: Payments may be made anytime within 60 days.
• No Release Until Paid: Firearm is released only after full payment.
• Background Check: Required prior to transfer.
• Cancellation: Layaways unpaid after 60 days may be canceled; payments may be forfeited.

Firearm Consignment Policy

1. Eligibility

• Firearms must be in good working condition, unloaded, and free of major defects.
• Consignor must be legal owner with valid ID and proof of ownership.
• Illegal, stolen, or altered firearms are not accepted.

2. Consignment Process

• Firearms inspected and priced by mutual agreement.
• Standard term: 90 days; may extend or retrieve unsold firearms.
• Commission: 15%; $50 non-refundable processing fee.

3. Sale and Payment

• Consignors notified and paid within 10 business days after sale, minus fees.
• Unsold firearms must be picked up; storage fees may apply after 30 days.

4. Legal Considerations

• All sales comply with federal and state laws; background checks conducted.
• Not liable for damage, loss, or theft except in gross negligence cases.

5. Termination & Amendments

• We may modify or terminate policy; consignors will be notified.
• Either party may terminate the agreement if obligations are met.

Gunsmithing Policy

This Gunsmithing Policy outlines standards, procedures, and requirements for all gunsmithing services performed by Outdoor Pro Shop LLC (“OPS”). Submitting a firearm for service acknowledges and agrees to the terms below.

Scope

• Applies to all firearms and firearm components received, serviced, modified, stored, or transferred by OPS.
• Includes customer-owned firearms, serialized components, and parts/accessories brought in for service.

Licensing & Legal Compliance

• All work is performed in compliance with federal, state, and local laws and ATF regulations.
• OPS will not accept, modify, or transfer any firearm in violation of applicable law.
• NFA-regulated items are accepted only when lawful and when proper documentation is provided.

Safety Standards

• All firearms must be unloaded at drop-off and will be verified unloaded upon intake.
• No live ammunition is permitted in gunsmithing work areas.
• Test firing (when necessary) is performed only in lawful, controlled conditions.

Services Offered (May Vary)

• Inspection, diagnostics, cleaning, and maintenance
• Parts replacement/installation and function checks
• Sight installation/adjustment
• Trigger work within safe tolerances
• Barrel threading and muzzle device installation (where legal)
• Laser engraving (including ATF-compliant markings)
• Cerakote/refinishing and ultrasonic cleaning
• Custom builds and modifications (case-by-case)

Prohibited Services

• Any modification that violates federal, state, or local law
• Conversion of semi-automatic firearms to fully automatic
• Alteration, removal, defacement, or obscuring of serial numbers
• Any work that compromises safe operation or structural integrity

Intake Procedure

• Valid government-issued ID is required at drop-off.
• A service/work order will be completed documenting make/model/serial number and requested work.
• OPS may require a deposit prior to commencing work.
• Firearms deemed unsafe may be refused or returned without service.

Estimates, Pricing & Payment

• Estimates are non-binding unless stated in writing.
• Final pricing may change due to unforeseen issues, parts availability, or additional labor required.
• Payment in full is required prior to release of the firearm.

Turnaround Times

• Turnaround times are estimates only and are not guaranteed.
• Delays may occur due to workload, parts availability, or regulatory requirements.

Customer Responsibilities

• Provide accurate information about condition/history and disclose prior modifications.
• Confirm lawful ownership and lawful configuration of the firearm.
• Pick up completed firearms within the timeframe provided at notification.

Liability & Warranty Disclaimer

• OPS is not responsible for pre-existing defects, wear, corrosion, prior gunsmithing issues, or undisclosed modifications.
• OPS provides no warranty beyond workmanship unless explicitly stated in writing.
• OPS is not liable for consequential or incidental damages to the maximum extent permitted by law.

Storage, Security & Unclaimed Firearms

• Firearms are stored in secure areas with access limited to authorized personnel.
• Storage fees may apply after a designated pickup period.
• Unclaimed/abandoned firearms will be handled in accordance with applicable law and shop policy.

Transfers & Background Checks

• Return of a firearm to the same customer after service is handled in compliance with all applicable laws.
• Any release/transfer to a different person requires full legal compliance (including background checks where required).

Refusal of Service

OPS reserves the right to refuse or discontinue service for safety, legal/regulatory concerns, abusive behavior, or non-payment.

Ultrasonic Gun Cleaning Policy & Liability Disclaimer

Service Overview

• Safe and effective for handguns, rifles, shotguns, suppressors, and internal components.
• Includes ultrasonic cleaning, rinse, dry, and light lubrication.
• Standard turnaround: 24–72 hours; customers notified when ready.

Customer Responsibilities

• Firearms must be unloaded at drop-off.
• Service intake form required.
• NFA items require proper documentation.
• Pickup within 7 days; storage fees may apply.

Liability Disclaimer

• Outdoor Pro Shop LLC is not liable for preexisting defects or wear.
• Aftermarket modifications or sensitive finishes are cleaned at owner's risk.
• We may refuse service for antique, rare, damaged, or unsafe firearms.

Disassembly & Reassembly

• Complex disassembly only upon request; customer assumes responsibility for reassembly.

Agreement

Submitting a firearm for cleaning acknowledges agreement to this policy and releases Outdoor Pro Shop LLC from liability not resulting from gross negligence.

Laser Engraving Policy

• Engraving must comply with federal, state, and local laws.
• Proof of ownership required.
• Firearms must be unloaded and secured.
• Design proof must be approved by customer.
• All sales final; refunds only for workmanship defects.
• Not liable for minor cosmetic imperfections or modification risks.
• Prohibited content includes offensive, hateful, or copyrighted material without authorization.
• Turnaround time varies; estimates provided during consultation.

Conditions of Use & Legal Agreements

Affidavit of Customer

• Not addicted to controlled substances.
• Sale/delivery does not violate law.
• No convictions for domestic violence or crimes punishable by over one year imprisonment.
• Not a fugitive, under restraining order, or adjudicated as mentally defective.
• Legal U.S. citizen and 21+ years old.

Indemnification & Agreement to Defend

Customer agrees to indemnify, defend, and release Outdoor Pro Shop LLC from any civil or criminal liability resulting from incorrect representations or product use.

Class Action Waiver

Dispute resolution is strictly individual; customers waive any class action rights.

Trademarks

Outdoor Pro Shop LLC and other marks are exclusive trademarks; unauthorized use that disparages the brand is prohibited.
